Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions:
This jam adds a pleasant zing to warm, rich curries. It is a natural partner to grilled jerk chicken and wild salmon. It also makes a nice, tropical cocktail when a spoonful is added to your usual mojito or caipirinha recipe. We recommend pairing BC Kiwi Jam with Fromage Frais.




Carrot Jam

Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions:
This jam is perfect with samosas. It makes a wonderful vinaigrette when whisked with olive oil and citrus juice or simply toss a spoonful of Carrot Jam directly into winter cabbage salad. It is absolutely delightful on a dark, seedy bread with cream cheese or feta for breakfast or a light snack. A Sticky Spoon fan suggested we add a layer of cream cheese frosting and a layer of Carrot Jam to our favourite carrot cake recipe and we cannot wait to try this idea. We have also been told that one of our jars will soon be scooped into a carrot bread pudding and we would love to see the results.

Spiced Autumn Plum Jam

Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions:
This jam seems to pair up wonderfully with every cheese, especially soft, creamy blue. It also makes a delicious cocktail when shaken with rhubarb bitters and dark rum. Sticky Spoon customers (professional chefs no less!) have roasted pork loins with Spiced Autumn Plum Jam and mustard and received rave reviews.


Cranberry-Apple Jam with Citrus

Serve on a turkey sandwich or spoon this on top of a wheel of brie with some pecans. A bit of time in the oven and all you need is crostini. Also delightful on top of gingerbread crepes stuffed with lemon ricotta.

Quince Jam

Manchego's perfect partner. Add Marcona almonds and Barcelona seems that much closer. Also wonderful with a creamy blue like St. Agur, or whisked into a sauce for duck breast or roasted veal.

Persian Peach Jam

Stir into thick Greek-style yogourt and garnish with a sprinkle of pistachios for breakfast or light snack. Add to prosecco with a touch of peach nectar for a tasty bellini. 

Quince Jelly

Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions:
Just like our Quince Jam, this jelly is delicious with Manchego and Marcona almonds. Pairs nicely with many cheeses and can be made into a fabulous reduction for duck breast or roasted veal. Vancouver Farmers Market buyers have shared their pairing ideas with us and suggested we try turning Quince Jelly into a vinaigrette for salads, yummy!

Tomato Jam

Think of this as the adult tomato condiment, delicious with meat pies, sausages and scrambled eggs. It makes a great dipping partner for crispy chicken, porchetta and even samosas.  Certain chef friends of Sticky Spoon have braised pork shanks with our tomato jam and we love the idea!

Pear and Vanilla Jam

Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions: 
Spread over hazelnut bread with soft brie for the ultimate breakfast pairing. Shake this jam with a little bourbon and lemon juice and enjoy a fantastic cocktail. Sticky Spoon Jam lovers have used Pear and Vanilla Jam as a base for a sauce for pork loin and we bet that was delicious.

Rhubarb Jam with Ginger

Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions:






Puree this jam and put a tablespoon into a champagne flute, topping with prosecco for a zesty spin on a bellini. We love this jam with citrus olive oil cake or pound cake or simply layered with yogourt and your favourite nut for a lovely breakfast parfait. It is delicious with rice pudding.


Summer Strawberry Jam

Whisk this jam with olive oil, black pepper and balsamic; it makes a lovely vinaigrette for a spinach and strawberry salad. Add to vanilla ice cream with candied almonds for a summer treat. It also pairs nicely with sponge cake and crème fraiche. 


Red Raspberry Jam

This jam is lovely sandwiched between layers of chocolate cake, spooned into thumbprint cookies and paired with any variety of lemon desserts (cheesecake is particularly nice). It is a tasty way to sweeten black tea; just swirl some in and see for yourself.

Apricot and Vanilla Jam

Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions: 
This jam pairs well with a mild, nutty blue cheese. It makes a great glaze for pork when mixed with a spoonful of grainy dijon mustard. Bourbon and apricot jam are also one delightful combination. Finally, a thin layer of apricot jam in an almond tart recipe adds a nice, surprising lift.



Sweet Onion Jam

Sticky Spoon Pairing Suggestions:




Spread on puff pastry with gruyere, on flatbread with creamy goat cheese and cured olives. This jam is also tasty with your favourite pate de campagne, on burgers (even scallop burgers, amazing!)  and grilled meats or folded into omelettes. You can stir it into a bit of sour cream for an amazing dip for pierogies or vegetables.  Our customers have enjoyed this jam with lamb burgers, veal sandwiches and cow's milk cheese. We couldn't agree more.
